BEGNAL :
Ó Beigleiginn/Beigleighinn, Begleyn, Beglin, Beglan, (Begnall), of the
little scholar
.
CARDOZO :
Spanish and Portuguese, derived from Cardoso 'place where thistles grew',
town or city from which the first bearer moved; also found in the form
CARDOZA; made popular by the Sephardim moiety (Spanish-Portuguese group of
Jews).
.
PEREIRA :
Sephardic (Spanish Portuguese) Jewish or Portuguese, translates to 'pear
tree'; fruit tree appellations often indicated a group of trees, an orchard.
.
WILSON :
English and Scottish, patronymic derived from the pet form of William
'resolution, helmet' by adding English and Scottish termination -son.
Didn't our ancestors know we would be looking for them in 100-300 years
later.....they think they had it rough.... sometimes I wish I was in a barn
looking for that proverbial needle in a hay stack.....I would of gotten a
magnetic and found it....D.R. "Doc" Begnal-Young-Jan 2005
